Transition - Year 11 to Post-16

As the only school in Bromley without post-16 provision onsite, we recognise the importance of the support and guidance we offer to our students for this stage in their journey. 

All students receive support on post-16 options through our Careers programme and their form time Learning for Life lessons. This explores with students the range of different options available to them, both in terms of providers and also courses for example A Levels, T Levels, BTECs. We also encourage students to use the Unifrog platform to support with this and provide them with dedicated time inside of school to do so. 

In addition to the above, students in Year 11 will also have:

- An individual interview with a member of staff to discuss their post-16 plans

- The opportunity for a further careers appointment with our Independent Careers Advisor

- Access to a range of post-16 providers at our post-16 fair

- Personalised support on GCSE Results day, regardless of results achieved, in order to help support next steps
