Clubs
Extracurricular
Our curriculum is largely academic because we firmly believe that high value qualifications are essential to a successful career. However, we want our students to become well-rounded individuals who are able to develop their talents and find their niche outside of the classroom. Therefore, we will offer a full programme of enrichment and extracurricular activities. Our target is to have 100% of students participating in at least one extra curricular activity in an academic year.
In addition to our Sports clubs which run, we also have the below additional clubs. This timetable changes each half-term.

Duke of Edinburgh Award
Each year, Year 9 students are invited to apply to take part in the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award. This entails students taking part in activities across four different sections: Volunteering, Physical, Skills and Expedition. In working towards and achieving the award, students develop key life skills such as confidence, resilience, teamwork, improved physical and mental well-being and gain new experiences and hobbies.
Many of our students go on to complete their Silver and Gold Awards in their post-16 education.
